लेखाविधिको क्षेत्र (Scope of Accounting):

लेखाविधिको महत्व व्यवसायिक संस्थाका लागि मात्र नभई घरपरिवार देखि सरकारी, गैरसरकारी तथा विभिन्न पेशामा संग्लन व्यक्तिहरुका लागि पनि यो उतिकै महत्वपूर्ण रहेको छ।

The importance of accounting is not only for business organizations but also for individuals from households to government, non-government and various professions.

1. व्यवसायिक संस्था (Business organizations): व्यवसायिक संस्थाहरु नाफा कमाउने उदेश्यले स्थापना भएका हुन्छन।  व्यवसायको कुनै एक निशचित समयवधिको वास्तविक नाफा पत्ता लगाउन सम्पति र  यथार्थ चित्रण गर्न र कारोवारको बारेमा जानकारी गराउन महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रहेको हुञ्छ।

Business organizations: Business organizations are established with the aim of making profit. It plays an important role in determining the actual profit of a business for a certain period of time, depicting the assets and reality, and providing information about transactions.

2. गैरव्यवसायिक संस्था (Non-profit organizations): कुनै पनि  गैरव्यवसायिक संस्थाहरु नाफा कमाउने उदेश्यले अभिप्रेरित नभई यसका सदस्य तथा समाजलाई सेवा प्रदान  उदेश्यले स्थापना भएका हुन्छन। यस्ता संस्थाहरु चन्दा र दानबाट प्राप्त रकमलाई  सदुपयोग गर्नको लागि लेखाविधिको आवश्यकता पर्छ।

Non-profit organizations: Any non-profit organization is not motivated by the aim of making profit, but is established with the aim of providing services to its members and society. Such organizations need accounting to utilize the money received from donations and donations.

3. सरकार (The Government): सरकार पनि बिभिन्न आर्थिक कारोबारमा संग्लन रहेका हुन्छन।  सरकारी स्वामित्वमा रहेका संस्थाहरुको आम्दानी,चन्दाबाट प्राप्त रकम,अर्को देशबाट प्राप्त अनुदान रकम,वितीय संस्थाबाट लिएको ऋण रकम कर्मचारीको तलब, भत्ता, आदि प्रयोजनको लागि लेखाविधिको प्रयोग गरोंछ।

 The Government: Governments are also involved in various economic transactions. Accounting is used for the income of government-owned organizations, money received from donations, grants received from other countries, loans taken from financial institutions, employee salaries, allowances, etc.

4. व्यक्ति तथा पेशागत (Individuals and Professionals): रुपैया पैसाको सहि सदुपयोग गर्नका लागि व्यक्तिले लेखाको सहयोगबाट पारिवारिक बजेट तर्जुमा गर्न सक्छ र बिभिन्न पेशामा संग्लन रहेका व्यक्तिहरु आम्दानी र खर्चको विवरण लेखाविधिले  सहयोग पुर्याउदछ।

Individuals and Professionals: To ensure proper utilization of money, individuals can prepare a family budget with the help of accounting, and accounting helps individuals engaged in various professions keep a record of their income and expenses.
