लेखाविधिको महत्व (Importance of accounting):

1. आर्थिक कारोवारलाई व्यवस्थित अभिलेख राख्ने (Keeping systematic records of financial transactions): लेखाविधिले व्यवसायको सबै वित्तीय कारोवारलाई व्यवस्थित रुपमा अभिलेख राख्ने कार्य गरिन्छ। यसले व्यवसायमा भएका आर्थिक कारोवारलाई योजनाबद्ध र क्रमको आधारमा अभिलेख राख्न मदत गर्दछ।

Keeping systematic records of financial transactions: Accounting is the process of systematically recording all the financial transactions of a business. It helps in recording the financial transactions of a business in a planned and orderly manner.

2.  निर्णय लिनमा मदत गर्छ (Helps in decision making): लेखाविधिले आर्थिक कारोवारलाई (आय, खर्च, सम्पत्ति, दायित्व, नगद प्रवाह, आदिको ) आधारमा सुचना प्रवाह गर्दछ, जसले लगानीकर्ताहरुलाई निर्णय लिन मार्गदर्शन गर्दछ।

Helps in decision making: Accounting provides information on financial transactions (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, cash flow, etc.), which guides investors in making decisions.

3. व्यवसायको कार्यसम्पादनको मापन (Measuring the performance of a business): लेखाविधिले व्यवसायको नाफा, वित्तिय स्थिति र दक्षता देखाएर व्यवसायको मुल्यांकन गर्न मदत गर्छ।  वित्तीय विवरणको आधारमा  व्यवसायको कार्यसम्पादन मापन गर्न सकिन्छ। यसबाट नाफा वा नोक्सान र समग्र वित्तिय स्थिति पत्ता लगाउन सकिन्छ।

Measuring the performance of a business: Accounting helps in evaluating the business by showing the profitability, financial position and efficiency of the business. The performance of a business can be measured on the basis of financial statements. This can be used to find out the profit or loss and the overall financial position.

4. कानुनी अनुपालन (Legal compliance): प्रत्येक व्यवसायले  सरकारी नियम कानुनको दायरामा रही लेखा अभिलेखन गर्नुपर्छ।  लेखाविधिले सबै कानुनी आवश्यकता पुरा गर्न सहि र व्यवस्थित अभिलेख र सुचना तयार गर्न मदत गर्छ।

Legal compliance: Every business must keep records within the scope of government rules and regulations. Accounting helps in preparing accurate and systematic records and information to meet all legal requirements.

5. कोष वृद्धि गर्न (To increase funds): लेखाविधिले भरपर्दो वित्तिय विवरणहरु प्रदान गर्दछ, जसले व्यवसायमा कोष वृद्धि गर्न मदत पुर्याउदछ।

To increase funds: Accounting provides reliable financial statements, which help in increasing funds in the business.
